Hi there. I have an iPhone 3Gs which was originally locked to Rogers. I called them up and had them unlock it for the $50 fee. I then gave the phone to my girlfriend to use with FIDO's prepaid/pay as you go service. Probably once a day, texting will lock up. She'll try to send a text and the status...
