Why did Bell hire a fairy godmother for the voice mail?

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like the voice that Bell is using for the voice mail. I realize they don't want someone who sounds like she's in high-school (i.e., Virgin Mobile), but the voice they chose sounds like a fairy godmother from a disney movie. I wonder what they were thinking...
