the ford probe and the mx6 both shared the same engine. it was produced both by ford and mazda.

ouch, my best friends mom had a probe, she had so many engine problems! she could of bought a 92-98 supra for all the money she put in the engine

alright, well this has no engine problems and has all maintenance done and shouldn't need anything for a long time

Try using starter fluid to get it going, and then test for fuel being delivered (fuel pump, injectors, etc) and spark. Might simply be there isn't enough fuel to get it going. And hope it doesn't trigger the "hold" light to flash...if it's an atx. Mine starts flashing if I look at the dash sideways!
