Vice President Joe Biden privately met with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in Washington on Saturday amid speculation that he is preparing to launch a campaign for the White House, CNN reported (http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/22/politics/joe-biden-washington-meetings/).
The purpose of the meeting is not known, but The New York Times reported on Friday that Biden was reaching out to potential campaign donors (http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/22/us/politics/joe-biden-campaign.html). Biden has said that he will make a decision on a run at the end of the summer (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/joe-biden-presidential-campaign_55a9583fe4b0d2ded39ef720).
Warren is seen as an influential Democrat.
