Voice calls on LTE - iPhone 5

Wow, did y'all know the phone can't handle voice calls and data over LTE at the same time?? The iPhone 5 deliberately switches down to the 3G network when you make calls and then back to LTE when you're off. It's unfortunate, because I do like my surfing when I'm on long holds... Is this what...
