Pasta is a seemingly simple dish. Boil a pot of water, add the noodles and after about 10 minutes it's done. Top with sauce and a comforting meal is yours. But there's a lot to know about pasta to make it great -- hundreds of years of Italian tradition go into this classic meal. Today, we're going to talk about pasta shapes.
There's a reason there are so many shapes of pasta to choose from. They're not just there to mix things up when you get tired of eating penne.
