I removed my molar tooth last month. It was severely infected and was causing me a lot of pain. My dentist asked me to get root canal treatment done for the tooth. I was suffering a lot of pain then. I just wanted to remove it. My friend had done root canal treatment for his front tooth. His experience wasn’t a good one. This scared me and that’s why I removed my tooth without even consider getting a root canal done. Now there is a space where the tooth stood, and this is irritating me. I have heard about dental implants. I’m planning to get a dental implant from a clinic in Aurora (http://www.skyviewdental.ca/cosmetic-dentistry/implants/). What are the risks involved in this process? Is this really painful? How long does it take to heal? What are the pros and cons of getting a dental implant? Kindly share your views. Thank you.
