My daughter is suffering from a severe toothache. Her gums bleed while brushing and eating. Pus comes out from her teeth continuously. Because of this, she is having bad breath. She didn't go to school for 1 week.

She is not able to eat and sleep because of the severe pain. We took her to a dental clinic, the doctor examined her and told that her gums are deteriorating. He also added that the main solution for this problem is oral surgery. I was shocked after hearing this. My daughter is very sensitive to pain. How will she undergo such a surgery?

My colleague suggested a dental clinic in Mississauga. She said that they provide better and safe oral surgery procedures (http://www.parkerhilldental.com/our-services/oral-surgery/). I am not aware of this. Is there anyone here who has undergone oral surgery? How was your experience? How much does the surgery cost? What are the precautions to be taken before the surgery? Kindly give some valuable replies.
