Anyone had an experience with glaucoma..!!

Hey, For a couple of days, My eyes seems reddish in the morning and having an extreme headache. Since this getting healed without any medicine, I didn't bother to consult a doctor. But it has been continuously three days I'm suffering from the same issue. I don't know what makes this trouble on me.
Last month, when I went for my routine eye check up my ophthalmologist suggested me to take a glaucoma diagnosis test. But I didn't take that due to the busy schedule of my work. Now, I get confused that what I have are the symptoms of glaucoma. I have heard that without taking proper glaucoma treatment (http://jenkinseyecare.com/procedures-technology/glaucoma/), people go blind. I hope my issue is not glaucoma. Maybe I need to examine my eyes with a specialist. But I'm anxious to consult a doctor. Do you think what I have are the symptoms of glaucoma? Does anyone felt similar issues like mine? Please share your thoughts on it.
