Condensation on the duct...

We had experienced condensation on the duct when we installed our extractor fan a couple of months ago. We had a large quantity of water in the duct, we emptied it and checked again. Even then, there was water. So we set the fan time to 10 mins and switched off to clear the water. My friend asked me to install a flop loft over the duct to avoid the condensation. The condensation occurs when the surface of the duct is colder than the air. He also asked to tilt the duct downward to drip out the condensation rather than accumulating. So we are going to seek help from any service providers for the ductwork installation. Any advice or suggestions would be a great help. TIA!!!
