No Memorial remembrance along Memorial Drive in the east of the city?

No Memorial remembrance along Memorial Drive in the east of the city?

I do not understand why the they have those fancy blue LED lights for the fallen in the NW/SW part of Memorial drive but nothing along its SE/NE counterpart? Maybe between 36-st and 52st?

I believe this so called "memorial" was done only benefiting the companies that were awarded the funds to do so.

People who died to serve our country came from all sides of Calgary.

Hopefully http://www.fieldofcrosses.com will see our message and actually take action.

Thats what I thought too, but apparently the "memorial" portion is only the down town area. You will even notice how dead and ugly the trees are after you hit 36 comming from downtown. After 36st the city plants the shityist trees, the uglyist grass which seems to be not maintained. They treat them like second class citizens because the majority of NE/SE is are muticutured people (which keep our city thriving) That part of the city tends not to complain too much and just put up crap the city lags on doing.
