Hi, My mother in law is in need of some sort of caregiver. She walks with the help of a cane due to the recent hip surgery she had. She is not able to do her daily routines by herself.
We need someone to help her get dressed, shower, provide support as she walks on her walker, even help to get in and out of bed. I did a little research on
firms providing home health service in Toronto and found some quality firms.
Before calling them, I would like to hear from you. Has anyone used these types of services before? Also, I know I should check whether they are certified, have a criminal background etc. What other things should I look for? What kind of questions should I ask? Guidance from someone who has experience would be much appreciated!
