Many teachers leave the profession within 3-5 years. Two such teachers had graduated from

They were not rehired and banned from further employment over a professional difference of opinion with their dept chair and the book room clerk, over the issue of using paperback novels rather than weighty anthologies to teach from, based on current research. They sued for their jobs back and lost, and subsequently left the profession.
