Default How to clean wool carpets ?

Hi, we have recently changed to a wool carpet in our home. I feel that it is a lot better than other fibers. As it can hold its texture and shape and also can take a lot of foot traffic. My mother also uses the same. She has been using it for years. She finds it much durable than other fabrics. It is also best for keeping soil and dirt at bay. It’s easily cleaned and vacuumed as the dust and dirt are suspended at the top because of the waxed surface on the outer layer. Plus, it has a high moisture content that makes it naturally flame retardant. Despite all these advantages and features, it can still get stains. I have two toddlers in the house and they are masters at this. Even after all my efforts to keep the carpet clean, they somehow manage to get something on the carpet that could leave a stain. I was thinking of cleaning the carpets regularly and also to get a professional carpet cleaning service to remove the stains. If anyone has any tips or to get rid of the stains from the carpet, please let me know that too. That way maybe I wouldn’t have to hire any cleaning service. Please feel free to express your thought.

I live alone and often use the cleaning service. I usually leave so as not to interfere with their work, so I prefer to choose a company from a trusted directory of companies, such as https://zabizlist.com/ , such companies value their reputation and are responsible for their employees.

Wool is very hard to clean at home. Try to gently clean it with a mild detergent and a brush.
