Ditch the calculators to improve mathematics scores, say tutors
In the 2017-2018 school year, 2,400 Grade 9 Calgary Board of Education students failed the provincial standardized math test.

It’s an issue indeed! The growth of technology made us think less. Why should we use our brain if we have smart gadgets to do this job for us? To be honest I’m not a math genius, even not remotely close, so I often use calculator when I need to calculate something. Without it I feel helpless. But it’s just because at school no teacher explained me math in a normal way. Only Assignment Expert helped me to keep on track with my algebra classes. I think it’s a core of the problem. Government should think of ways to encourage youth to study math.
