Default Tinnitus treatment

In the Christmas Eve, I spent the whole day with my mates, drinking and listening to music. I noticed my left ear hurting when the bass cranked up. I didn't think of leaving the room because I was slightly intoxicated and continued to listen to the music.
A week went by and my ears were completely fine. But, I woke up in the middle of the night a few days later with a piercing sound in my right ear. I booked an appointment with the doctor the next day and he told that I suffered from tinnitus. My tinnitus was extremely high pitched and I cannot tolerate in any longer.
My parents advised me to have a tinnitus cure treatment from Toronto at the earliest before the condition became worse. Is tinnitus curable? Does tinnitus mean that one is going deaf?
