iPhone 6+: a1524 or a1522

There are 2 unlocked version being sold at the Apple store. A1522 is the unlocked version that comes with a T-Mobile sim. A1524 is not unlocked but comes with no sim. According to Apple website, the A1524 supports more bands. So isn't the A1524 the better phone to get?
