Default My daughter is having tooth sensitivity - Need advice

My daughter is having severe tooth sensitivity. She is having severe pain while having hot and cold drinks. I noticed this when she was having ice cream yesterday. She was crying out with pain while having ice cream. I don't know why she is suffering from tooth sensitivity. She brushes and flosses daily. She even brushes her teeth at night before going to bed. She didn't have any tooth related problems before. So she never visited a dentist.

I decided to take her to the dentist tomorrow. One of my friends suggested the pediatric dental clinic in Kitchener. This will be her first visit to the dentist. She is tensed and afraid of her first visit to the dentist. Is there any particular treatment done for teeth sensitivity? Why children who brush their teeth daily suffer from tooth sensitivity? Kindly share your views and suggestions.
