All of the sudden can't connect to my router.
I was streaming some music today and my internet connection just totally crapped out on me for no reason, and now it refuses to work.
I am connected to an actiontek web6000q (Via Ethernet, but WiFi is also not working). The device shows no activity (No blinking green light as it usually does), and the lan1 connection (incoming line from modem) is not lit up at all. Lan2 (my comp) and the 2.4/5g lights are on, but of course no connection. The Ethernet is properly connected all the way to upstairs, where the modem is (probably a t1200 or something). The other computers connected to that have no issues; their internet works fine. I've tried resetting this modem, to no avail. Also tried factory resetting my 6000q. Ipconfig on my machine shows no default gateway. I can't connect to the router or the modem by ip address. It's so weird that it just randomly lost connection, and refuses to connect again. I'm thinking it's just my web600q that bit the dust, and I'll have to ask telus for a replacement, but I'm willing to try any suggestions! More... |
