iOS 8 on iPhone 5?

I know i heard and seen people running iOS8 just fine on iPhone 5 but my only question is what other benefit would i get running iOS 8 on iPhone 5? I love the iOS 6 on the phone because of the interface but i know alot of updates on apps require 7.x on the phone now. Right now what am i missing? It...
