Channel guide changes?

It used to be when viewing the Optik TV guide I could go left and it would highlight the channel. I could then push enter and see what was on that channel only for that day and into the future. This was extremely useful when wanting to know what was coming up on a particular channel.
Now when I go right it shows me what was just on and if I keep going left it will show me what’s been on. This is useless. I’m not at all sure why I would want to know what I missed.

Any my idea why this change was made and how we get it changed back.
