ipad 1 to LTE ipad

Hi, I have the ipad1 and it has the Unlimited Data SIM in that. Everything is fine. Now I want to use the LTE speeds, How canI do that? Can I simply remove the SIM and put that, in a IPAD MiNI and will I get the 4g LTE Speeds? Or should I get a New SIM from AT&T? I searched and got this...
