Group chat suggestion

I am an avid sports fan. Mostly hockey. I remember having groups on BBM where you could set more then one moderator,post schedules etc. What I'm wondering is if there is anything like this on iOS currently using GroupMe but it just doesn't cut it. Does anyone know if there is anything out...
