Great little offroad truck. Works well and has legendary Toyota reliability. Lifted 5" spring, 1.5" body. Locked front and rear with ARBs, 5.29 gearing. Solid Axle Swap has been done. 4 wheel disc brakes. Air conditioning. Onboard air. Onboard shower. 22re engine. Electric fan. Manual transmission. Long travel driveshafts - Flexes nice! 35"x12.5 tires (can fit bigger)
I have had this truck for 10 years and it has been solid. The frame is great. Most Toyota's of this age have rotten frames and serious rust issues but not this truck. 10 years ago the truck stood out because the frame was rust-free. Now this is ultra-rare. I have maintained the frame carefully over the years. Minor surface rust only. Never been repaired, never had major rust. There is some minor body rust. Bottom edge of both wheel wells in the front has some rust damage. Otherwise, surface rust only from rock chips. A few minor wheeling dents - nothing serious.
Engine: 22re. Shadbolt M1144 Cam, Flex-o-Matic 165 electric fan, dual-stage thermostat, Doug Thorley Header, 2.25" exhaust, Flowmaster 50 muffler, high output alternator, new battery.
Transmission/Tcase: stock. 5 speed Manual tranny, Low profile skidplate/crossmember.
Driveshafts: Long travel shafts
Axles: 1984 solid front axle - fully trussed. 5.29 gears, ARB, cross-over steering conversion with Hy-steer arms, All-Pro shock towers, greaseable shackles, recently overhauled with new grease throughout.
1986 rear axle - 5.29 gears, ARB, disc brake conversion, air shocks for increased load capability, greaseable shackles, disc brake conversion, recently overhauled with new bearings.
Brakes: Disc brakes on all 4 tires. Front: new calipers and pads, freshly resurfaced rotors, steel braided brake lines. Rear: Sky Mfg brackets, new Monte Carlo calipers, new pads, new Chevy rotors, steel braided brake lines
Lift: All-Pro 5" lift. SAS swap kit front - All-Pro components, extended length rear springs for more flex. 1.5" body lift
Tires: 35" x 12.5" x 15" on American Racing AR727 rims.
Winch: Milemarker 8000lbs
Air: Electric Viair 550 compressor permanently mounted, 7 gallon tank, regulator. Connected to ARBs and to air chuck for refilling tires.
Electronics: CB Radio, Pioneer CD player, Clifford Alarm, Offroad flood lights
Misc: Lowprofile tcase crossmember/skid plate, custom pickup box, removable mud flaps, tow hitch, onboard water heater for a shower, air conditioning.
Lots of spare parts.
Pickup the truck, throw the camping gear in and go wheeling! It is ready to go.
