Setting ringtone to contact - iOS7

For some reason, iOS7 is not doing this correctly. I can cange the default ringtone just fine, but when I chage a specific contact's ringtone, it still plays the default. Assiging specific sounds to a contact's text work the right way. Anyone know what is going on here?
