Bought a used iPhone 5c

I bought an iPhone 5c off someone. I paid $165 bucks for it. It has a small crack where the earpiece is. The side volume buttons do not work and the phone goes dead when the battery percentage reaches around 50%. Should I spend the money to have it fixed or cut my losses and sell it for parts....
