Prepaid unlimited text $10

Any users here have the $10 unlimited text grandfathered before it changed to $15? My son was locked in on this and now telus ended his grandfathered $10 text which was on auto renew, after July 18th it is now $15 regardless. Is this for everyone who was locked in on the previous $10 addon?
