IPHONE 6 CDMA and GSM

I went to apple store to purchase an iPhone 6. I was told that is the only phone that is CDMA and GSM in the unlocked form. Is this true? I would like one if its possible to use it on Verizon or other service or swap between services. Anyone ca provide more info on this matter since I do not want...
