Africa is beginning to become a hotbed for style stars and emerging fashion designers (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=chayet-chienin/african-fashion-trend_b_6850124.html). And South Africa in particular is leading the way.
Johannesburg and Cape Town have been home to successful brands like David Tlale (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=2012/11/04/david-tlale-africa-fashion-week-_n_2072538.html) and Gavin Rajah, (http://www.gavinrajah.com/) but there are also smaller labels churning out collections that are making us take notice.
