Southwest Airlines has jumped on the flash sale bandwagon (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/jetblue-flash-sale_55c9de99e4b0f73b20ba84dd) this week, with flights as low as $59 (https://www.southwest.com/html/promotions/nationwide-sale-150804.html?src=socl_14_26345983_11416615_26363343 &) for travel from August 25, 2015 to February 10, 2016.
The nationwide sale ends Thursday, but before then you can nab a flight to Akron-Canton Ohio to Washington D.C. for $59, Atlanta to Jacksonville for only $73 and Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale for $88. Other great deals include Burbank, California to Las Vegas for $69, Charleston to Nashville for $106 and Dallas to Los Angeles for $132. Head to Southwest's website to check out a ton more steals. As with all airline flash sales, there are some rules and exceptions. The one-way tickets require a 14-day advance purchase, and certain blackout dates do apply, so read the fine print before booking.
