Social media users in China captured apocalyptic scenes in the city of Tianjin on Wednesday after several explosions blasted a fireball and mushroom cloud into the sky.
Chinese state media said over 300 people were injured (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/china-tianjin-explosion_55cb849fe4b0f1cbf1e716c9?mu4eipb9) and local police reported seven dead in the blasts, which took place at an industrial area where explosives were stored.
The explosions toppled buildings and ignited other fires in the vicinity, and all residents were being evacuated, according to China's state broadcaster (http://www.cctv-america.com/2015/08/12/explosion-reported-in-tianjin-china).
