If you have nothing better to do on a weekend night, one-upping your friends' worst breakup stories isn't a bad way to spend the evening. For illustrator Johnathan Bigelow, those conversations ended up serving as inspiration for a witty, relatable comic strip (http://stairwellonline.com/post/93668930516) on terrible breakups.
"The comic was the result of us discussing the worst ways they'd been dumped and the worst ways they could imagine getting dumped," Bigelow, who's based in Seattle, told The Huffington Post.
The strip is part of the Bigelow's Stairwell series (http://stairwellonline.com/), which chronicles the conversations a guy named Norman has with his brain.
As for this particular comic, Bigelow wanted to get across that "there is no good way to get dumped. But there are varying degrees of crappiness in the ways that one could be dumped."
