There's nothing wrong with being basic, this according to our gal pal, Lauren Conrad.
“I probably am pretty basic," Conrad told Cosmopolitan (http://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/a45492/lauren-conrad-october-2015/) for the October 2015 issue of the magazine while on the subject of embodying basicness. "But I’m also a pretty happy person, so that’s OK with me."
The 29-year-old, whose multi-million-dollar empire is not-so-basic, is gearing up to show an exclusive runway collection from her LC Lauren Conrad line (https://laurenconrad.com/blog/2015/09/letter-from-lauren-fall-fashion-september/) with Kohl's at New York Fashion Week this month. A far cry from her Laguna Beach days.
“Television was just sort of an accident," she said. "I never felt really strongly about it. But fashion is something I feel passionate about. If I hadn’t done TV, I still would have ended up in the [fashion] industry, but I definitely wouldn’t be in the position I am now.”
