iPhone 6s models overheating too soon when using certain apps ?

I was considering updating to the 6s, but, last night I saw two Periscope broadcasts from two users who had got their phones earlier that day, and both of them commented on how hot their news phones got after only a few minutes of live broadcasting... saying hotter, and quicker, than their iPhone 6...
