The University of California has agreed to pay $1 million in a lawsuit filed by demonstrators who were pepper-sprayed during an Occupy protest last fall at the campus in Davis, according to a preliminary settlement filed Wednesday.http://rss.nytimes.com/c/34625/f/642562/s/23dbcde0/mf.gif
