iPhone 5 - LTE - Sucks balls?

So....got my iPhone 5 and its the worst hunk of junk ever! The ****ing thing won't get off 3G even thought im holding a samsung galaxy s2 with rogers right next to it with full bars of LTE . Turned off the phone blah blah blah the whole jazz and nothing...is anyone else experiencing this? Its weird...
