How was Paul Rudd involved in writing the screenplay for Ant-Man? (https://www.quora.com/How-was-Paul-Rudd-involved-in-writing-the-screenplay-for-Ant-Man)

Paul was really involved, Paul and Adam McKay when I came on the movie, that's when they started their rewrites. So we all got together with Marvel and we talked about what we wanted to bring. Adam McKay as we all know is an incredibly funny writer, but Paul is the one that I was really impressed with. He's not only funny, he knows a lot about structure and about character. He's as unselfish as a writer as he is an actor-- he really had the whole movie in mind. It can be a dangerous thing having the star of your movie write the movie, and give himself all the best lines and jokes, but Paul is absolutely not that guy.

What is the most important thing a director should take care of while selecting locations for large scale movies like Ant-Man? (https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-most-important-thing-a-director-should-take-care-of-while-selecting-locations-for-large-scale-movies-like-Ant-Man)

Locations are obviously crucial because sense of place is important to any movie. You want the locations to support the character and the story.

We were looking for the location for Pym Technologies we found this building in Atlanta Georgia which I think is the Georgia Hall of Archives for the state. It's this giant mid century monolithic building with no windows. If I was conducting revolutionary scientific experiments for Pym Technologies, that the perfect building to do them in. And the fact that it was mid-century and its best days were behind it-- that sort of felt like Hank Pym in the movie. He feels like a bit of a relic of another era. The building really seemed to say all of that.
