Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is rounding out 2015 by reminding us of all the gun violence that took place this year.
On Thursday afternoon, Murphy began tweeting out every injury and death from every mass shooting over the past year, as compiled by Shooting Tracker (http://www.shootingtracker.com/) in conjunction with the Gun Violence Archive (http://www.gunviolencearchive.org/). Shooting Tracker defines a mass shooting as any event where at least four people are shot, not necessarily killed.
For my 2015 year in review I’m listing all of them - every injury and every death in every mass shooting this past year.

He is going through each shooting "day by day, month by month," demonstrating the sheer amount of mass shootings that have occurred in 2015.
Final day of May? 4 shot in Cleveland, 4 more in Conyers, GA, 4 more in Springdale, MD, and 5 here in New Haven.

While he has yet to mention why he's tweeting this list, it's faily clear Murphy's intention is to shock readers and push for change on gun policies in the U.S.

He has said recently that Congress is giving its "quiet endorsement (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/chris-murphy-mass-shootings_565f5a5fe4b079b2818d00a7)" of the violence that occurs because of poor gun policy.
