Former NFL player Lawrence Phillips was found dead early Wednesday morning at Kern Valley State Prison in California, authorities said (http://cdcrtoday.blogspot.com/2016/01/inmate-death-at-kern-valley-state.html). He was 40 years old.
The death is being investigated as a suspected suicide.
