Before Aaron Paul (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=news/aaron-paul/)scored a juicy role as Jesse Pinkman (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/breaking-bad-porta-potty_us_565dcfd0e4b079b2818bcec5) on "Breaking Bad," the actor appeared in a whole lot of ads to pay his bills.

During a Tuesday appearance on "Conan," Paul talked about one of his most memorable ads -- a Juicy Fruit spot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmP5uFEZnOM)that brought in a ton of dough.

"That paid all my bills for almost two years," Paul said. "I would get residuals every 13 weeks. When they stopped playing that commercial it was just such a loud reality check: 'Oh, my god, I need to get a job.'"

Paul and Conan then got into the "very weird" ad, which shows Paul and another actor's clothes fly off via some strange, mind-bending power of Juicy Fruit.

Paul has moved on to bigger roles since his commercial days and recently appeared in the newly released thriller "Eye in The Sky" (http://live.huffingtonpost.com/r/segment/aaron-paul-gavin-hood-eye-in-the-sky/56ce0b818795a2ce0200030c) with Helen Mirren and the late Alan Rickman.

He's also reportedly starring in the film adaptation (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=entry/aaron-paul-the-dark-tower_us_56e1ef0ae4b0860f99d86825?utm_hp_ref=aaron-paul) of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower," though remained secretive with HuffPost in March, only saying, "It would be absolutely a dream of mine."

"I've been such a fan of those books for many years, huge fan of Stephen King,” Paul said. "I talked to Stephen last night about it. I hit him up on Twitter. It’s incredible, the people you can talk to on Twitter."

In the meantime, we'll just be sitting here waiting for that "Better Call Saul" guest appearance. (http://start.westnet.ca/newstempch.php?article=2015/03/06/aaron-paul-jesse-pinkman-better-call-saul_n_6815556.html?utm_hp_ref=aaron-paul)
