Help: If unlocked by carrier, getting a refurb device from damage will be unlocked?

Hello, I have gotten my iPhone 5 unlocked by my carrier. I'd like to know if my phone gets damaged and apple replaces it with a refurb. Will it also be unlocked? Thanks
