Cannot connect to voicemail on unlocked iPhone 4S

Going to call tech support tomorrow but thought I'd post here first in case anyone has a suggestion, couldnt' find anything on Google. I have an iPHone 4S that was locked to Telus. I paid them the $35 and they unlocked it a couple weeks ago, which worked as I tested it with a Rogers sim etc. ...
