Verizon Iphone SE issue

Been having an issue where the phone will say "NO SERVICE," then 1x, then LTE, then back to "NO SERVICE" again. Toggling Airplane Mode usually fixes it for a few hours, then it does it again. Is this a hardware issue or a carrier issue?
