Number Swap Question - Need Advice

Hello all, I have a Bell Plan and a Telus plan. I want to take my Bell # and use it on my Telus plan. I realize that I can port my number and that will work. However, this will cancel my current plan and I don't want to do that because I need to use it still. Does anyone have any suggestions...
