After being re-directed 5 times between tech support plus agents (you guys are halarious) thought I would post here.
Real Simple;
Opened a port on my Actiontec T1200h so I can connect to my LAN remotely via VPN. Port shows its closed though it's properly configured.
Is a business plan required to open ports? And use a VPN? Are All ports blocked with a consumer (dynamic IP) plan? Think that might be it, so if you can confirm then mystery solved.
Read a lotta article about Telus pulling corporate bull**bleep** about the topic.
So to summarize, should I be able to connect to my LAN remotely via windows VPN without business plan? If so, any idea why the port won't open?
Thanks
