2000 Peterbilt 10 Car Hauler - ONLY 499,000 Original miles. I bought this truck brand new and it has never left the Southwest, which means NO RUST! Some of the specs are as follows....
*Caterpillar 3406E*13 Speed*Boydstun 7/8 car quickloader trailer*Boydstun 3 car Headrack *48 inch sleeper*satellite Radio with custom audio speakersIt has brand new steer tires, drives are approx 75% and Trailer tires are approx 75%. All axles are outfitted with *cat-eyes* tire pressure monitors.
The truck runs excellent and has given me hardly any trouble over the years. It has the black, nic-sil coated cylinders that not only don't rust, but never leak. I think I've only had one or two that have ever needed new seals in all these years.I have seen a lot of car haulers over the years and have noticed a couple of common traits.......lots of misc. welding "surgeries" on them, and lots of corrosion. Mine exhibits hardly any of these traits. I've had very, very few unscheduled repairs over the years. In fact, other than a new starter a couple years ago, I really can't think of a mechanical failure that I've even had.
