iOS 11 issues

I’m noticing that my phone will lock up at times for like 10 to 20 seconds.Pressing the home button, or the power button yields nothing. I’m hoping Apple will come up with an update soon because this gets kind of annoying at times. Anybody else experienced this? This is happening on my iPhone 6s...
