Greetings,
I got my Smart Ring (http://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/smart-ring-home-phone) telephone number changed on Tuesday, and now my fax machine (http://www.brother.ca/en/p/FAX575) doesn't answer the distinctive ring (http://support.brother.ca/app/answers/detail/a_id/133341/p/7824). I'm trying to figure out if it its a problem with my fax or the phone line.
Since the only change was with Smart Ring number, I thought that the problem was with the phone line. I called Telus, and they changed the pattern from a double to a tripe ring (short-long-short), and my fax still doesn't answer.
I've tried a few troubleshooting steps (http://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/phone-not-ringing), but I'm really not sure what else I can do. I welcome any suggestions.
