iPhone 3GS restore issue

I recently got AT&T to unlock my iPhone 3GS. when i did restore, i got this error "We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care." the phone was previously jailborken. is there anything i can do to get it to work again...
