TELUS Fibre migration - they said everything will stay the same. There are no changes to service or billing. Bill No. 1 after migration was reviewed in another thread. Error fixed for now, I think but will need to review next bill closely. I suspect they adjusted the billing but not the underlying issue. We'll see.
Today, I try to phone a number and get a busy call prompt. Pressing the wrong number now will activate a pay-per-use feature. I had 3 features blocked on my copper service. Now when I log in, I see that they have been removed. Called TELUS Support and 99% sure I've got an overseas agent. She didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
Fast forward to the end of the call, she tells me that that Busy Call Prompt Block is not available on fibre. It gets better. She says that according to her information the Busy Call Prompt feature is not itself available. I suspect that this is not accurate as I got the prompt this morning but the rep was adamant that the feature is not available with fibre. I can accept that the "block" is not available if the feature itself is not available.
It's ridiculous that they tell me that there should be no such feature when I was subjected to it while calling someone today.
Ticket issued for second level. Really? Meanwhile, the 'blocks' are apparently no longer available on the other features as well. Or are they?
